Exportain Trust Center
Exportain Trust Center explained: verification, badge meanings at a glance, funds holds, disputes, and reporting routes, and how buyers use the hub before and during an order.
Short answer
The Exportain Trust Center is the hub page that states how suppliers are verified, what buyer protection covers, and how disputes and fraud reports are handled. It records document-reviewed badges, an optional funds hold, and reporting routes, but it guarantees nothing about capacity, quality, or delivery. Buyers use it before shortlisting and again during an order.

On this page
The Exportain Trust Center is the hub page where Exportain states how supplier verification works, what buyer protection covers, and what happens when a trade goes wrong.1 It is the reference a buyer reads before shortlisting, before accepting terms, and again if a dispute or a fraud report becomes necessary. Badge meanings and protection parts are summarised here only.
What it is
The Trust Center describes the checks that exist today, and says where a control is not yet in place rather than implying it.1
Supplier verification is a document review by the Exportain team. It is not a factory inspection, and it is not a check against any government database.1 Each check is submitted separately and approved, returned, or rejected by staff. Approved checks earn trust badges, shown on the supplier profile, product cards, and directory rows.1 The five badges are Exportain Verified, Export Verified, Factory Verified, Trading Company Verified, and Trusted Trader.1 A badge is not a guarantee of production capacity, product quality, or delivery. A company without a badge shows nothing, not a grey placeholder.1
Payments and orders form the second half of the hub. Accepting a quotation creates one order and one proforma invoice from the accepted terms.1 For a trade in goods, Exportain holds money only when both parties agree. The supplier can ask for a funds hold of up to the order value, and the buyer chooses whether to pay it by card or decline it.1 A paid hold is kept until export clearance is filed and the buyer confirms the trade complete, then released to the supplier. If either party disputes it, the money is frozen and Exportain staff decide whether to release it or refund it.1 Exportain also holds payment for a trade service paid through the platform, until release, refund, or cancellation, with a dispute freezing it in between.1 Without a hold, payment is arranged between buyer and supplier on the proforma invoice terms.1
Trust Center section | What it tells you | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
Supplier verification | Checks staff review, and what each badge means | Read the badge before relying on it |
Payments and orders | One order and invoice per accepted quotation, plus the optional hold | Decide on a hold before paying |
Disputes and reporting | Review of the recorded history, and its limits | Raise a dispute with the order reference |
The buyer protection page repeats the hub in shorter form: document review, a quotation history both sides can see, private document storage, and a way to report problems.2 It adds the limit in plain terms: nothing on the page is a guarantee Exportain does not operate.2 The buying guide places the same controls inside the wider buying sequence.3
Who it is for
The Trust Center is written for international buyers sourcing from Bangladesh through Exportain. Checking the hub first lets a buyer match a badge to the question it answers, decide on a hold while terms are still open, and keep the record where Exportain can review it later.
The other side of the hub is the Bangladeshi seller. Sellers submit the verification checks, and staff review each submission on its own.1 Seller membership plans sit beside that process, not inside it: Free, Gold at 499 BDT per month, and Platinum at 999 BDT per month — see Seller Membership Plans.4 Membership never grants a verification badge, and verification is free and never purchased.1 4 A Gold Member or Platinum Member label records a plan. It is not a trust badge.4
The supplier directory lists registered suppliers, with trust badges shown on each row that has earned them.5
Step-by-step with screenshots
The steps below follow the published platform text rather than reproducing screens, which the public platform pages do not show.

Open the Trust Center before shortlisting. Read the verification section first: a document review, not a factory inspection and not a check against any government database, certifying no factory, shipment, or delivery date.1
Read the badge table, then the limits beside it. Exportain Verified covers identity, phone, email, and business registration; Export Verified covers the Export Registration Certificate; Factory Verified or Trading Company Verified covers facility photos; and Trusted Trader covers completed orders on Exportain with no disputes.1 A badge is not a guarantee of capacity, quality, or delivery, and a missing badge means a check has not been approved.1
Check the protection summary before accepting terms. The recorded quotation trail holds the RFQ, every quotation version, every counter-offer, and the accepted terms, seen by both parties.2 Acceptance creates an order record with those terms attached, which is what Exportain reviews in a dispute.2
Decide on a funds hold while terms are still open. A supplier can ask for a funds hold of up to the order value, and the buyer chooses whether to pay it by card or decline it.1 2 Before paying, agree the Incoterm, payment schedule, inspection, and shipment terms in writing, in the quotation record.2 On a direct settlement with no hold, Exportain does not guarantee refunds.2
Use the mid-order checks the hub describes. For a held goods order, release follows two events: the supplier files an export clearance document and the buyer confirms the trade complete.1 If either party disputes the held amount, the money is frozen and Exportain staff decide on release or refund to the card.1 2 The same freeze applies to a trade service paid through the platform.1
Raise a dispute or a report through the hub routes, with the reference ready. If a trade goes wrong, either party can raise a dispute on the order, and Exportain reviews the RFQ, quotation history, messages, and documents held on the platform.1 Exportain is not a court and cannot compel payment or delivery, but it can suspend or remove a company from the marketplace.1 Separately, counterfeit certificates, a company claiming another factory, or a listing that misstates its product should be reported to the verification team, where reports are handled by people, not automatically.1
Examples: pre-order, a buyer who needs goods shipped from Bangladesh weights Export Verified, because that badge is tied to the Export Registration Certificate, while a buyer choosing between a maker and a trader weights Factory Verified against Trading Company Verified.1 Mid-order, a held order is released only on export clearance filing plus buyer confirmation, and a dispute freezes it.1
Tips
Start at the hub, not at a single badge. A badge answers one check. The hub shows the full set of checks plus the payment and dispute rules.
Read the "does not do" lines first. Its limits sit beside its controls: not a factory inspection, not a government database check, not a guarantee of capacity, quality, or delivery, and not a court.1
Treat a member label and a badge as different products. Membership plans change listing quotas, inquiry limits, and team seats.4 They never grant a badge, and verification is reviewed separately.1 4
Keep terms inside the quotation record. Terms outside that record are not part of the history reviewed in a dispute.1 2 State the Incoterm, payment schedule, inspection, and shipment terms in writing before paying.2
Decide on the hold before paying: it is optional and agreed by both parties, and declining it leaves a direct settlement in place.1 2
FAQs
Is it free?
Verification itself is free and never purchased.1 No buyer fee for using the hub or reading a profile appears on the pages read. Seller plans are priced separately, Free, Gold at 499 BDT per month, and Platinum at 999 BDT per month, but they are seller plans, not a buyer fee for the hub, and they never grant a badge.4
How long does it take?
No timeline is published for a verification review or a dispute decision, so no days or weeks figure is given here. Each submission is approved, returned, or rejected by staff, and each dispute is reviewed against the recorded history, but no fixed turnaround is stated for either step.1
Who can use it?
International buyers sourcing from Bangladesh are the main readers: the hub explains the checks, payment rules, and dispute routes for their orders. Bangladeshi sellers use the same hub from the other side, submitting checks and reading the membership terms beside verification.1 4
Where can I get support?
No email address or phone number appears on the pages read, so none is given here. The routes described are a dispute raised on the order, reviewed against the recorded history, and a fraud report sent to the verification team.1 For accepted-terms disputes, contact Exportain with the order reference.2
