A survey conducted by McKinsey Health Institute has ranked nations on employees’ well-being, considering factors such as the physical, mental, social and spiritual health of the workforce. Here are 8 top nations as per the rankings
The survey ranked Turkey as the best country for employees. On the basis of the responses by Turkish workers, the country received 78 per cent score.
The Indian participants in the survey pegged their physical health at 81 per cent, mental health at 79 per cent, and social and spiritual health at 78 per cent. Overall score was registered at 76 per cent.
China scored 75 per cent, with people assessing their social health at 82 per cent, physical health at 79 per cent and mental health at 83 per cent.
Nigeria scored 69 per cent in the survey. The African nation scored 72 per cent in social health, 69 per cent in physical health, and 79 per cent in both spiritual and mental health.
Cameroon also scored 69 per cent, thus sharing the ranking with Nigeria. While 63 per cent in Cameroon said they were physically fit, 84 per cent and 80 per cent of employees said they were spiritually and mentally fit respectively.
Sweden scored 68 per cent in the survey, with respondents pegging their social health at 75 per cent, physical health at 79 per cent, spiritual health at 54 per cent and mental health at 70 per cent.
The participants from UAE assessed their physical health at 72 per cent, mental health at 73 per cent, and social and spiritual health at 72 and 73 per cent respectively. Overall score was pegged at 67 per cent.
Mexico also scored 67 per cent in the survey, with respondents indicating their social health at 73 per cent, physical health at 67 per cent, spiritual health at 74 per cent and mental health at 76 per cent.
