Here are the most relgious countries according to 87 countries based on a global survey of more than 17,000 people, published in the US News & World Report. 

Israel is the most religious country in the world when ranked by perception. The country in terms of cultural influence stands in 47th rank.

 The Middle East country stands as the second-most religious in the world. Thousands of Muslim devotees around the world participate in the pilgrimage to Mecca, the birthplace of the Muslim prophet Mohammed.

India is known for its rich culture and history. The South Asian country stands as the third most religious in the world. It is in 10th place in terms of heritage.

In fourth place stands Iran. However, the country lacks in terms of social life, where it stands in 86th rank.

The United Arab Emirates stands as the fifth most religious country in the world and has an overall ranking of 19 as the best countries in the world.

Next on the list stands Qatar, which stands as the sixth most religious country in the world.

Egypt has been ranked as the seventh-most religious country in the world. The country in the Best Countries Overall Ranking Index stands in 34th place.
