Buffalo Payments reporter Maddy Glab has issued an apology after a sizzling mic caught her criticizing receiver Stefon Diggs.
“I’m very sorry for what I stated and meant no unwell will,” Glab stated in an announcement shared on X, previously often known as Twitter, on Wednesday night. “I respect the hell out of Stefon Diggs, and he has been one in all my favourite gamers to cowl. He has nice character and treats us media with plenty of respect.”
Glab’s apology is in response to a video that started circulating on-line Wednesday afternoon. Forward of a Payments press convention, a reside stream picked up Glab speaking with reporters as they have been ready for a gamers to take the rostrum. “There’s no management over Stefon Diggs. Dudes gonna do what he desires to do. He’ll look in my face and say (expletive) you…that’s how he treats all people,” Glab stated. The video has greater than 1.5 million views.
Glab supplied context for the viral clip, revealing that her off-hand remark was meant as a joke.
“Media was ready for gamers to return out for press conferences when a reporter jokingly instructed me to go get Stefon Diggs,” Glab wrote. “I stated I don’t have management over him — Stef marches to the beat of his personal drum and I like that about him. He has a playful relationship with our video division, in order that’s why I stated he most likely wouldn’t say sure to me grabbing him for an interview.”
She concluded her assertion by writing, “I mustn’t have stated what I stated… Stef will not be within the flawed, I’m.”
